Bio:
Walt Wilkins is Solicitor, Thirteenth Circuit of South Carolina. His prior legal experience includes United States Attorney, District of South Carolina; Assistant United States Attorney; Associate, Leatherwood, Walker, Todd & Mann law firm; and Staff Attorney, Lockheed Martin Aircraft - Argentina. Walt's community activities include The Downtown Symphony Club, Young Philanthropists of United Way and teaching Spanish to law enforcement officers as Adjunct Professor at Greenville Technical College. He received the United States Secret Service Award for Outstanding Prosecution and the United States Attorney's Awards for Outstanding Prosecution and Contribution to the Asset Forfeiture Program. He was named Young Lawyer of the Year by the American Board of Trial Advocates. Walt earned his JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his BA with a double major in Spanish and government from Wofford College. His home is in Greenville. He is a Fellow of the eighth class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
