Bio:
David Cote is assistant vice president and assistant treasurer with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina where he has served in a variety of financial roles over his 18-year career. His current responsibilities include managing cash and investments, bank relationships and operational administration of the Corporate Treasury Department for the parent company and more than 40 subsidiaries. David is president of the board of Senior Resources, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides services and resources to promote healthy, independent living to senior citizens. He is a former board member of the Congaree Land Trust and the South Carolina Treasury Management Association and is a graduate of Leadership Columbia. David earned his BS degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina. He holds the designations of Certified Treasury Professional, Professional - Academy of Healthcare Management, Health Insurance Associate, and Fellow - Life Management Institute. He lives in Columbia. He is a Fellow of the eighth class of the Liberty Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
