Bio:
Andy Coburn is a partner at Womble Bond Dickinson LLP. Previously, he practiced law at Wyche, Burgess, Freeman & Parham where he represented clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, securities offerings and other financing transactions. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Furman University. Previously he was a Law Clerk for the Honorable J. Harview Wilkinson, III and he served in the U.S. military as Lieutenant with the 629th Military Intelligence Battalion, Maryland Army National Guard. Andy's community activities include Co-Founder of the Upstate Alliance Investor Roundtable Club, serving as a columnist and on the Advisory Board of Black Box magazine, and serving on the boards of the Meals on Wheels of Greenville Endowment (trustee and secretary), the Metropolitan Arts Council and the Greenville Little Theatre, where he regularly performs in their productions. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Princeton University. Andy is a Fellow of the tenth class of the Liberty Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
