Bio:
Juan Carlos Paiz is co-founder and President of Pani-Fresh, a 750-employee group present in 20 countries and involving companys in Bakery, Pet Food, Education, Health and SAAS. Also President of FUNDESA, the largest and most respected Development Foundation in Guatemala. Former Presidential commissioner for competitiveness and investment in Guatemala. In 2010, he set the strategy for foreign investment attraction and led a private and public proposal to increase Guatemala's economic growth from 4 percent to 6 percent. Juan Carlos is the co-founder and former president of GuateAmala, which coordinates community action to empower citizens. He has also served as president of the Central America Exporters Federation, the Exporters Association, and the Guatemalan Business Council CACIF. He is a Fellow of the sixth class of the Central American Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
