First Name:
Gabriel
Last Name:
Delgado Ayau
Title and Organization:
CEO, Iternum
Bio:
As the co-founder and Chief Development Officer at Honduras Prospera Inc., I spearhead initiatives to transform Honduras into a hub of innovation and economic growth. Our groundbreaking approach in developing Special Economic and Semi-Autonomous Zones is designed to be a catalyst for foreign direct investment, generate abundant job opportunities, and elevate communities into prosperity. At the heart of Prospera lies our commitment to freedom and opportunity as the keystones of human progress. In tandem with my role at Prospera, I preside over Ubiquo, a pioneering B2C Communications platform making waves across Central America with its forward-thinking solutions. Since 2010, I have had the honor of serving as a Trustee at Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala, safeguarding the institution’s dedication to Classical Liberalism and its role in cultivating the next generation of principled leaders. With a portfolio of over 15 ventures founded in the dynamic sectors of telecom, cryptocurrency, and the internet, my entrepreneurial journey has been a testament to my belief in entrepreneurship as a cornerstone for personal development, innovation, societal benefit, and civic betterment. Educationally, I have solidified my technical foundation with a B.S. in Engineering Science from Trinity University and sharpened my strategic acumen with an MBA from Universidad Católica de Chile. My passion for imparting knowledge often finds me teaching entrepreneurship at Acton MBA, an extension of Universidad Francisco Marroquín. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am engaged with global leadership communities through my membership in YPO and the Aspen Institute's Central American Leadership Initiative. My dedication to personal excellence is mirrored in my athletic pursuits, including adventure racing and ultramarathoning – disciplines that I believe mirror the tenacity required for professional success. At my core, I am a family man, a father of four, a voracious reader, and a firm believer in the transformative power of entrepreneurship to address global challenges.
