Title and Organization:
Honduran – Walmart´s Sub Director of Trade Facilitation for Central America and responsible for Corporate Affairs in Honduras since 2007, focused on promoting commerce and ways to expedite procedures and controls of the movement of goods across national borders, maximizing efficiency while safeguarding legitimate regulatory laws in each Central America country. For Honduras, she is responsible for corporate social responsibility, gender, sustainability, SME development, management of institutional and community relationships as well as the corporate communications of the company.
Graduated in third place of International Relations and Diplomacy, in the Honduras Catholic University, and obtained her MBA from Schiller International University, Florida in 2001. From a young age, she has identified with diverse social causes, acting as volunteer for various charities and business organizations, currently she is: Pro-Treasurer of the COHEP Executive Board 2015 – 2017; and its former Coordinator of the Gender Committee from 2012 to 2014. Director of the National Association of Manufacturers (ANDI) since 2008, and serving from 2009 to 2011 as President of the Young Industrials (JOVIN); Funding President of the Honduras Food Bank (BAH) from 2012 – 2013 and Funding Curator in Honduras of the Global Shapers Community/WEF.
