Bio:
Johanna Hill is managing partner of CA Trade Consulting Group of San Salvador, where she advises firms on trade agreements, market access, compliance, customs, defense instruments, and economic integration. She is also executive director of El Salvador's Chamber of Telecommunications. Prior to joining CA Trade, she was vice minister of the economy of El Salvador; chief negotiator for the European Union-Central America Association Agreement, the Doha Round at the World Trade Organization; trade policy director; and chief negotiator for labor and the environment in the US-Central America-Dominican Republic Free Trade Agreement. Johanna holds a BA in international relations from Tufts University and a master's degree in international relations in international economic policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. She is a Fellow of the fifth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
