Bio:
Adrián is Partner and General Manager of Amrop Costa Rica, where he leads the search for senior executives and independent members of boards of directors for national companies, multinationals and family business groups. Over 25 years of managerial experience in the private and public sector, and as a member of boards of directors. In the financial sector, he has been the Pension Manager of the Corredores Asociados Group in Colombia, and a member of the Board of Directors of Banco Cathay, from 2010 to date. He led real estate companies for more than 15 years as General Manager of the European Real Estate Group DIURSA, General Manager of Futura Developments and President of Suburbia Developments. In the technological area, his experience has been focused on the real estate and financial sector, as General Manager of Conecta S.A. and as coordinator of the Cathay Bank Technology Committee from 2010 to date. In the public sector he held the position of Mayor of the Escazú County for 4 years, obtaining the recognition of the United Nations as a good example of best financial and administrative practices. General Manager of the presidential campaign of the Former President Laura Chinchilla Miranda, and President of the Inauguration Committee. Graduated in Economics from Los Andes University Colombia, where he also completed his postgraduate studies in economics. He was part of the Board of Directors of the Fundación Neotrópica a recognized environmental NGO in Costa Rica. Adrián is an active golfer, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Golf Association and his golf club. Adrian is a Fellow of the fifth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
