Bio:
Lorena Maduro is Corporate Manager of the Consumer Credit Division of Inversiones La Paz, a family owned holding company in Honduras. She is founding member of the Asociación Creciendo Juntos and serves as President of the Board of Directors. The organization partners with private businesses to help working families through on-site child care centers. Lorena also serves on the Board of Directors of the Museum for National Identity (Museo Para la Identidad Nacional - MIN) and on the Advisory Board of FEREMA, and education NGO. Prior to joining the family business, Lorena worked as Community Programs Manager and as Marketing Director at a mobile healthcare company in the United States. During the 2002-2006 presidential administration in Honduras, Lorena served on the President's communications strategy advisory committee. She also directed community service initiatives focusing on children, education, and public parks causes. During the 2001 presidential campaign, Lorena travelled extensively throughout Honduras and actively participated in the party's youth organization. Lorena holds an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. from Pepperdine University. She is a Fellow of the eighth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
