Bio:
Michelle Muschett is a policy and global development specialist with multisectoral experience in leadership positions. She is currently UN ASG & UNDP Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean.
She has served as Deputy Minister and Minister of Social Development of Panama; Senior Public Policy Advisor and Executive Education Director for Oxford’s Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI), advising governments and policymakers globally in their efforts to address multidimensional poverty; and Senior Policy and Strategy Advisor for the Fourth Sector Group, mobilizing collective leadership and action to scale business models that deliver social and environmental benefits and to leverage public and private finance for development.
Michelle holds a bachelor’s in Law & Political Science and master’s degrees in Public Administration (Cornell University); Commercial Law (Externado University of Colombia); and Management of Heritage and Cultural Projects (Palazzo Spinelli, Italy). She speaks Spanish, English, and Italian.
