Title and Organization:
Victoria Gamboa Ross is a public figure in Costa Rica. She recently ran for Vice President for the social Democratic Party presidential ticket. She has been in media for over 20 years and was the president of the Anna Ross Foundation for over 10 years, a nonprofit dedicated to cancer in Costa Rica. She has also served as Academic Director of Advertising & Marketing programs in the Latin American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT). She has worked in broadcast media for over 20 years and is currently the producer and host of Contexto 360, a daily radio show on politics and news.
Her academic achievements include Kappa Tau Alpha National Honor Society in Journalism and Mass Communication, and the Golden Key International Honour Society. She finished coursework on a PhD in Public Administration and Business at ICAP, a B.Sc. in Mass Communication and Journalism with an emphasis on television production from Florida International University, a B.Sc., in Political Science from the University of Costa Rica and a Masters in Communication with an emphasis in Television Management from Universidad Complutense of Madrid. She holds a post graduate degree as Project Manager from Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica. Victoria is a Fellow of the 10th class of the Central America Leadership Initiative (CALI) and the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
