Ana María Vallarino is the Executive Director of the Central America Leadership Initiative (CALI) Foundation. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Grupo VerdeAzul (GVA), VerdeAzul Hotels, and MFTech. She leads management of personnel, participates in execution of strategic projects for the group and she is the President of VerdeAzul Foundation, GVA’s corporate responsibility branch. She is member of Panama's National Council for Gender Equality and a founding member of Asociación de Directoras de Panamá. Since 2019, she is part of the Board of Directors of Sumarse. Between 2020-2021, she served as Executive Director of the #TodoPanamá movement. Ana Maria obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree, with a specialization in Sociology, from the University of Virginia in the United States in 2004. She is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network in the 10th class of the Central America Leadership Initiative (CALI).
