Bio:
Lorena has 28+ years of experience in Corporate Executive roles and proven track record in leading and executing growth for significant organizations in Central America. She is experienced in multi-functional team leadership and Board relations. Passionate about contributing to social progress, competitiveness and prosperity, Lorena is engaged in several initiatives that seek to close development gaps, make a difference in public governance and transform cycles of poverty into cycles of prosperity in the region. Architect, with a master's degree in Business, a postgraduate certificate in Reengineering, and marketing and leadership studies at INCAE and Uniandes, Lorena is a strategy and turnaround specialist. She has been speaker at international forums in LatAm, Europe and Middle East addressing women empowerment, value creation, inclusive businesses and corporate social responsibility. Lorena is a fellow of the Central American Leadership Initiative Class X, the Aspen Global Leadership Network and the Star Leaders for the Next Generation. She is passionate about working with changemakers in Central America in the search for long-term sustainable values. Mother and wife, Lorena currently resides in Portland, Oregon sharing her time between the United States and her efforts for a more just, peaceful and prosperous Central America for all.
