David Falkenstein is the Managing and Founding Partner of Cadejo Brewing Company, the first craft-brewery of El Salvador. He is creating a different type of corporation than is common in his home country, focusing on empowering individuals and creating a culture of camaraderie, personal development and innovation. Mr. Falkenstein previously co-founded a financial research sales firm in New York, New York in 2002, a venture whose operations he later moved to his home country of El Salvador in 2008. In 2016 he co-founded Acton Academy El Salvador with his wife Shannon. In 2019 he became the Finance Director for Nuestro Tiempo, a new centrist humanist political party. He previously was Executive Director of the private enterprise sector of the Salvadoran Republican party. He obtained a degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University in 1995 and spent the next 7 years working for IBM Consulting Group in the Midwestern United States and in New York. David is married and has a young son and daughter. He is a Fellow of the tenth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
