Bio:
Jorge Aguilar is CEO of Desarrollos Jaguar, S.A., a real estate management and development company. Currently, Desarrollos Jaguar, S.A. is developing the eco-touristic project Villas Ecológicas Los Mazapanes, a project consisting of beach villas with strong environmental components located in the town of Tela on the Honduran Caribbean. He is also an independent consultant and contractor and founding partner of Inmobiliaria Cinco Estrellas, S.A. de C.V. (ICINESA), a family business dedicated to management and development of real estate in Tegucigalpa. He is chairman of the Innovation and Unity Social Democrat Party (PINU). Previously, he was an elected representative to the Honduran National Congress, national youth coordinator for the party, and a 1997 congressional candidate. Jorge is former president of the Honduran Fulbright Association, a member of the Continuing Education Committee of the Honduran Civil Engineers Association, and founder of the EVA Foundation. He received a degree in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a focus in entrepreneurial real estate. He is a Fellow of the fourth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
