Bio:
Honduran entrepreneur and businessman, CEO of Grupo Cadelga, an
agroindustrial business group that employs over 4,000 people, mainly
focused on fertilizer distribution, sugar and energy production. He is the
current president of COHEP (Consejo Hondureño de la Empresa Privada),
the country’s official representative of the private sector. Mateo is a
recognized member of the Central America Leadership Initiative and the
Aspen Global Leadership Network. He is an active leader in sustainable
development initiatives. Current member of the Honduran National
Football Team Council and considered one of the most important soccer
leaders in Honduras. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration & Finance and an MBA, both obtained in Loyola University
in New Orleans, LO.
