Bio:
Arturo Sagrera is currently chairman of the board of EMPRESAS ADOC, a family-owned business with footwear manufacturing and retail operations throughout Central America. Additionally, he is Vice President of GRUPO HILASAL, a diversified family-owned business (Textiles, Apparel, Real Estate and Logistics) in El Salvador. Arturo is actively engaged in various non-profit initiatives. He serves as director of Fundacion Sagrera Palomo, a non-profit family foundation focused on transforming lives through education, and as director of Superate, a non-profit educational program that provides underprivileged high school students with high quality education in english, computing and life skills. He is Founder and President of Proyecto Pais, a youth development and crime prevention initiative focused on providing opportunities for high-risk youth and their communities. Additionally, he is Director of FUSAL (Fundacion Salvadoreña para la Salud y el Desarrollo Humano), a nonprofit foundation focused on providing disadvantaged Salvadorans with development opportunities through health and education. Arturo received an MBA from Babson College and a BA in Economics from Pepperdine University. He is a member of YPO El Salvador. He is a Fellow of the fourth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
