Ricardo Cohen is CEO of Aseguradora Suiza Salvadoreña, S.A. He is also the director of YAK PAK EL SALVADOR, S.A. DE C.V., a manufacturing concern focused on exports to the U.S. and Europe (since 1995), the director of MEDIDENT, S.A. DE C.V. a distributor of pharmaceutical products and dental equipment and products (since 1994); as well as the Director of CURTIS INDUSTRIAL S.A. (since1994). In 2002 he became the director of Fundación Hogares Providencia for Street Children and since 2003 he has been the president of the Salvadorian Association of Insurance Companies and since 2005 the advisor for the national Association of Private Enterprises (ANEP). He holds a BS degree from Lehigh University and a specialization certificate from the Swiss Insurance Training Center (SITC), Zurich, Switzerland. He is married with three children. He is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
