Bio:
Hugo is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience delivering interactive services and software solutions that leverage cloud computing and mobile telephony. Before co-founding Vital Interaction, he was founder and CEO of Celumanix, one of the leading providers of Mobile Content and Mobile Marketing in Latin America, with operations in eight countries and more than 3 million customers. Previously Hugo was the Commercial Director for Terra Lycos in Central America and the Caribbean, where he and his team achieved an all time record in sales growth. His first international role was as the Vice President of Information Systems for AIESEC International, headquarters in Rotterdam, The Netherlands at the young age of 23. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and has supported several initiatives to help educate and equip other entrepreneurs, including the implementation of the Acton MBA in Entrepreneurship at his Alma Matter, UFM in Guatemala. He has a passion for traveling, having visited over 140 cities in 45 countries. He loves to swim, scuba dive, read and enjoy quality time with his family. He is a Fellow of the second class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
