Bio:
Sabrina serves as executive producer and lead anchor of the news, interviews and analysis television program Radar, which is aired weekly in TVN Media. She is also part of a local panel of political analysts in the long-tenured radio program Infoanálisis, transmitted nationally. Furthermore, Sabrina is a public opinion and journalism professor at Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua (USMA), and she the production of "Héroes por Panamá" (Panama´s Heroes), an annual television event which is Sabrina´s Central America Leadership project. Sabrina has become one of Panama´s most respected journalists with successful 16-year tenure in various media conglomerates. At La Prensa, Panama´s leading newspaper, Sabrina distinguished herself as a political trend analyst, syndicated columnist, and senior editor. In 2011, Sabrina was named to the board of directors at La Prensa. Prior to her appointment, Sabrina was the senior manager of the newsroom staff at TVN. Under Sabrina´s leadership, the news staff at TVN became the local leader in ratings while achieving unprecedented claim for credibility and overall transparency. Sabrina is part of Panama´s CONAREX, an entity composed of local citizens that provides advice and counsel to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on international policy matters (2014-2019). Sabrina sits on the board of directors of PROED, the local Journalists forum, and the board of the Frank Gehry-designed Biodiversity Museum. She is a Fellow of the second class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
