Bio:
Laetitia Deweer is a Belgian-Costa Rican psychologist and family counselor who, in 2005, founded CEPIA, an award-winning, nationally accredited nonprofit organization in Costa Rica. CEPIA promotes culture, education, health, and social cohesion of children, teenagers, and adults from underprivileged communities, to improve their quality of life. Each year, CEPIA supports over 3,000 individuals through nine comprehensive programs. As Development Director, Laetitia oversees program impact, financial sustainability, strategic growth, organizational partnerships, and fosters synergistic teamwork across all initiatives.
Laetitia is an EMDR/transpersonal psychotherapist and transformational breathworker. She serves as a Clinical Advisor to Beckley Retreats, a psychedelic retreat program that merges modern science with ancestral wisdom, grounded in research in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University, Imperial College London, and Yale University.
Laetitia speaks Spanish, English, French, and Dutch. She is the mother of one daughter and a fellow of the Central America Leadership Initiative (CALI) of the Aspen Institute.
