Ana Lucrecia Tovar de Zarak is a partner at Fabrega, Molino & Mulino (FMM), leading the Banking, Securities and Trust Department. Previously, she served as legal and compliance head of Citibank Panama. She is Director of the Board of Directors of The Superintendency of the Securities Market and Director of the Board of Directors of The Superintendency of Banks of the Republic of Panama. She has given lectures and been a trainer in Securities Law, for applicants to the Stock Broker, Executive Head Officer and Investment Manager Licenses, at USMA, ULACIT, Merrill Lynch, Banco General, Dresdner Bank, Banistmo, UBS Asesores, Money Managers & Co., among others. She is a member of the Panama Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association (IBA), the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP). President and Director of the Board of Directors of the Superintendence of the Securities Market of Panama (2012-2017). Ana Lucrecia received her Bachelor of Laws from Santa Maria La Antigua University (USMA) and a LLM Degree, American University, 1998 with concentration on securities regulations and finance law. She is married and has four children. Ana Lucrecia is a fellow of the ninth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
