Bio:
Ms. Nadel currently manages the Environmental Performance Improvement team for Shell's Heavy Oil division in Canada. In this role, she coordinates and leads the strategy to deliver environmental leadership across the Heavy Oil business, specifically related to reduction in GHG intensity, reduced use of fresh water and accelerated land reclamation. She is also responsible for Shell's participation in the Canadian Oil Sands Innovation Alliance, a consortium that shares technologies and approaches to improve industry performance collectively. Previously, Ms. Nadel was the Sustainable Development and Social Performance Manager for Shell's Upstream Americas region. Prior to Shell, she worked for the National Park Service and the National Academies National Research Council. She received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Duke University, an MS in Engineering from Penn State University, and an MBA/MS from the University of Michigan.
