Stephen J. Wukela is serving his third term as Mayor of the City of Florence. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science in December 1996. Thereafter, he graduated in 2000 from the George Washington University Law School with a Juris Doctor degree. Mayor Wukela has since practiced law in the Wukela Law Firm. Also, Mayor Wukela has been honored with a Doctor of Humanities degree from Francis Marion University. He is married to Laura Wukela of Augusta, Georgia and the couple has 3 boys, Stephen, Thomas and William. Stephen Wukela is a Fellow of the 12th class of the Liberty Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
