Bio:
Rose Buyck Newton is Vice Chairman of the Board and Vice President of Marketing for Bank of Clarendon. She has more than 20 years of executive experience in community banking in South Carolina. She is a graduate of the ABA School of Bank Marketing and Management and is a Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP). She received her MBA from the University of South Carolina and graduated summa cum laude from Converse College with a double major in finance and economics. She is passionate about promoting women in banking and just recently helped establish a Fellowship at the Moore School of Business aimed at assisting females interested in banking in the state of South Carolina. Rose is a Fellow of the 12th class of the Liberty Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
