Michelle Mapp is Chief Executive Officer of the South Carolina Community Loan Fund. Formerly she was Executive Director of the Lowcountry Housing Trust where she partnered with financial institutions, government agencies, residential developers, community-based organizations and others to provide a dedicated funding source for the production and preservation of affordable housing. Michelle's prior work experience includes high school math teacher, Manager of Decision Support for Competitive Logistics and Manager of Logistics Systems Development for Americold Logistics in Atlanta. She serves on the boards of Affordable Housing Coalition of SC, SC Association of Community Development Corporation, Port Mitigation Commission and Tri-county Cradle to Career Collaborative. She is a graduate of Diversity Leaders Initiative at the Riley Institute and Leadership Charleston. Michelle earned her Master of Public Administration from the College of Charleston & University of South Carolina, her Master of Science in Engineering Management from George Washington University and her Bachelor of Science in Engineering Analysis from Clemson University. She lives in North Charleston.
