Bio:
George Johnson is a partner at Johnson, Toal & Battiste, P.A. and general counsel and licensed funeral director at Leevy’s Funeral Home. He is currently a member of the SCANA Midlands Advisory Board. He was chair of the American Bar Association General Practice Section Diversity Committee. George was named an ABA General Practice Division Fellow in 2002 and was named one of the 10 best criminal defense attorneys in Columbia by the Greater Columbia Business Monthly magazine in 2011. He received his JD from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law and his BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a Fellow of the 12th class of the Liberty Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
