Jeffrey Schwartz is the Founder and CEO of Dentity, the trailblazing digital identity app that’s attracting millions of consumers. Dentity is on a mission to make the Internet a safer place by giving consumers a private and secure way to share their personal information and control their digital identity. Capital partners include Kleiner Perkins, AARP, and Blockchange Ventures.
Schwartz is widely recognized as an Internet and tech pioneer, with over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience. He’s created and led over a dozen public and private companies, including Autobytel (ABTL), Autoweb (AWEB), CarParts.com (PRTS), Atrinsic (ATRN), SureSale, eForce Media, and AutoCentro, among others. Schwartz formerly served as Vice President, Corporate Affairs for The Walt Disney Company where he was responsible for negotiating the company's long-term strategic marketing and promotional partnerships with Fortune 100 companies.
Schwartz has received numerous professional awards, including Outstanding Executive of a Public Company by the American Electronics Association (AeA), the CIO 100 award, and the Deloitte and Touche FAST 50 Award. He has been a two-time recipient of the prestigious American Business Award (the Gold Stevie Award) for best new product launch and innovation of the year. Schwartz is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and was formerly a board member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau, the Motion Picture Association of America, the National Association of Manufacturers, the Asia Society, and the Alliance for Children’s Rights, among other civic and charitable organizations. Schwartz was a gubernatorial appointee to the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, a long-time advocate for preserving open space in Southern California, and mayoral appointee to several commissions responsible for redevelopment in the city center.
Schwartz holds a Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and attended Stanford Law School Directors College.
