Pat Ryan is a business and social entrepreneur who has created several high growth software companies and numerous innovative urban education initiatives. Pat is Founder and CEO of INCISENT Labs Group, a platform and incubator for innovative, industry-changing technologies that spin out into high growth companies including the #4 fastest growing software company in Inc. Magazine's Inc 500 rankings. Pat is an active Angel Investor and a member of the Investment Committee of Chicago Ventures, Chicago's leading early stage venture capital fund. Pat started his career as a teacher on Chicago's West Side and has been a social entrepreneur in education for over twenty years. The three major initiatives founded by Pat are now unified under The Accelerate Institute: The Accelerate Institute is the first urban principal training program to develop "achievement accelerating" school leaders; the Alain Locke Charter School achieved the #1 test score gains in the history of Illinois' ISAT standard test and was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as one of 7 charter schools in the United States best "Closing the Achievement Gap" and serves as a "teaching hospital" on accelerating student achievement as well as the ICTC Leadership Academy. Prior to his entrepreneurial business and civic endeavors, Pat attended the Chicago Police Academy where his classmates elected him "Outstanding Recruit" and where his work as a narcotics investigator earned him a commendation for leading a $1.1 million cocaine seizure. Pat is a graduate of Georgetown University, earned a Master's in Business Administration from the Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and a Juris Doctor cum laude from the Northwestern University School of Law. Pat is the Chairman of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) Chicago Chapter, a Trustee of Northwestern University, and a Director of the Penske Corporation. Pat is Global Leader for Tomorrow at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Pat and his wife Lydia live on Chicago's North Side with their 3 children. He is a 1999 Henry Crown Fellow and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute..
