Bio:
Beth Vanderslice has been a partner at Trewstar Corporate Board Services, a firm specializing in corporate board placements, since February 2019. She serves on the board of AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) and had been serving on the board of Xilinx, Inc. from December 2000 through its acquisition by AMD in February 2022. Beth also serves on the boards of AESC Group Ltd. (an EV battery technology company), and Univers Holdings (a global provider of energy and carbon management technology solutions and services). From 1999 to 2001, she served as general manager of Lycos, Inc. through its acquisition. From 1996 to 1999, Beth was CEO of Wired Digital, Inc, a spin-off of Wired Ventures, Inc, and a member of the boards of Wired Digital and Wired Ventures before leading the company's acquisition by Lycos. Prior to joining Wired Digital, Beth was a principal in the San Francisco investment banking firm Sterling Payot, which helped raise the capital to launch Wired Magazine, and Vice President at H. W. Jesse & Co., an investment banking firm in San Francisco. She also worked with the IBM Corporation before earning her MBA from the Harvard Business School. In addition, Beth holds her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Boston College. She was a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and the World Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and is an Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellow. She has also served as a Trustee of Boston College since 2010. Beth resides in New York City with her husband and three children.
