Bio:
Charles Conn is a seasoned cross-sector leader, conservationist, and best-selling author. He is co-founder and partner of Monograph Capital, a life sciences venture firm. Charles serves as Chair of Patagonia, was previously senior advisor to the Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation environment program, where he led conservation projects, including the wild salmon ecosystems initiative and the TNC Palmyra atoll research station. He serves or has served on the boards of Trout Unlimited, The Nature Conservancy's European Council, and other conservation organizations. Earlier he was a technology entrepreneur, and was founding CEO of NASDAQ listed Ticketmaster-Citysearch. He is also an education leader, including a five year term as CEO of the Rhodes Trust, the organization that delivers the Rhodes Scholarships in Oxford. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he was a Partner and leader in its strategy practice. He is co-author of best-selling Bulletproof Problem Solving: The One Skill That Changes Everything (Wiley) and The Imperfectionists (Wiley). He is a graduate of Harvard Business School, Boston University, and Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
