Matthew (Matt) Wisk’s background encompasses over 30 years of general management and marketing experience. He is currently the CEO of BeMyEyes, which is the largest platform in the world serving the blind and low vision community. Previously he was President at two different Internet companies - One Technologies and at MyPoints.com, a subsidiary of United Online. Prior to these roles he was the Chief Marketing Officer for United Online (Classmates.com, NetZero and Juno) TiVo, and Herbalife. Earlier in his career he held a variety of marketing roles at Nokia. Over a nine-year period he progressed through the marketing organization to become Vice President of Marketing, North and South America for the mobile phone division. Under his leadership, Nokia grew from having single-digit brand awareness to being the most considered and preferred brand in the category. He then moved to Europe to run global marketing for Nokia Networks from 2000 to 2002.
Mr. Wisk was named one of the 'Top 100 Marketers of 1999' by Advertising Age and 'Grand Marketer of the Year, 2000' by Brandweek. He was also awarded the Gold Effie Award for Advertising Effectiveness in 2001.
Mr. Wisk is a Henry Crown Fellow, Class of 2002, from the Aspen Institute's Henry Crown Fellowship Program, and he received both his BA and MBA degrees from Michigan State University.
