Rosemary Jordano Shore founder, CEO and Chairman of ChildrenFirst Inc., one of the nation's first and largest backup child-care companies which was sold to Bright Horizons in 2005. Roe was the recipient of the Stanford Graduate School of Business' "Business Leadership Award”, the "Pinnacle Award" for achievement in business from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, and was recently recognized by Trinity College, Oxford University Feminae Trinitatis photographic exhibit celebrating outstanding achievements of female graduates and Fellows. She served on the Regis College Board of Trustees, the Dana-Farber Leadership Council and the Wellesley College Business Leadership Council. Roe graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors degree in Economics and Psychology from Wellesley College in 1984. She holds a M.Sc. in Developmental Psychology from Oxford University and received an MBA from Stanford University in 1989. Roe now mentors young women engaged in entrepreneurship in the business and nonprofit sectors. Roe and her husband Billy Shore, who founded the anti-hunger organization Share our Strength, and their son Nate live in Boston but spend time in Washington D.C. where Share Our Strength is based. Rosemary is a member of the 2002 class of Henry Crown Fellows and the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
