Bio:
Richard is Managing Director of Landt Enterprises, an investment firm. He was previously a professor at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and before that, co-founder and CEO of dollarDEX Investments, an award-winning wealth management firm in Singapore, ranked by Institutional Investor as among the Global Top 30 in online finance. Prior to dollarDEX, Richard was with Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, and DBS Bank. He is also active in public service, having served as Deputy Chairman (alternate) and board director in Singapore's regulatory agency for intellectual property, on the resource panel for Singapore's Group Parliamentary Committee on Finance and Industry, and in the country's Economic Review Committee. He was a founding member of Singapore's Action Community for Entrepreneurship, a social enterprise to spur entrepreneurship. Richard has been featured as one of the 50 Movers and Shakers by the Singapore Straits Times, and in 2003 gave the third Monetary Authority of Singapore Innovation Address. Richard has a doctorate from Harvard and masters and bachelor degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a DBS scholar. He is a member of the 2003 class of Henry Crown Fellows and the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
