Bio:
John Livingston founded Sensorsolve, a portfolio of companies advancing the next generation of industrial intelligence, in 2014 after a 20 year career at McKinsey & Co and serves as CEO. He is also founded Dorje, LLC in 2014 and serves as Executive Chairman of High School Cube. John was formerly a Senior Partner with Mckinsey & Co. Director in McKinsey & Co.'s, serving as head of their Chicago office and head of the firm's Americas wireless communications practice. John joined McKinsey in 1993 and has helped the firm open offices in South Africa (1994-95) and Southeast Asia (1999-2002). In addition to living abroad during these times, he served global companies from the Chicago office on their most critical strategic and operational issues. John's client work at McKinsey focuses on communications companies, but he is also responsible for McKinsey's recruiting efforts at Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. John is the founder of Partners of Misericordia, a group of young leaders he brought together to support a home for children and young adults with disabilities. He is also the founder of Friends of Evanston Northwestern Healthcare, and a board member of Civic Consulting Alliance which supports city departments with strategic and operational issues. John earned an AB with honors in Economics in 1989 from Princeton University, as well as an MBA and JD in 1993 from Kellogg Graduate School of Management/Northwestern University School of Law. John makes his home in Winnetka, IL with his wife and two boys. He is a member of the 2006 class of Henry Crown Fellows and the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
