Tareq Maayah is the CEO of Exalt Technologies, a leading Palestinian software development, and technologies services company employing over 300 Palestinian engineers and scientists. Prior to this position, Tareq was the CEO of Siemens Information and Communication Technologies Ltd., a Siemens AG research and development center for data communication equipment. Tareq serves as the vice-chair of the board of the Palestinian American Chamber of Commerce and has in the past served on many boards and was Chairman of the Palestine Information Technology Association of Companies, and Palestine Information and Communication Technologies Incubator from 2004-to 2006. Tareq holds a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, (IIT). He is a 2007 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
