William H. Berkman is currently Managing Partner & CEO of Interval Global, LLC. Mr. Berkman is an entrepreneur and investor in the communications, media, technology and energy industries who has created, acquired, invested in and built a series of communications and energy growth and infrastructure companies over the course of his 35-year career. Most recently Mr. Berkman was Co-Chairman & CEO of Radius Global Infrastructure, Inc. (RADI; NASDAQ) which was acquired by EQT Active Core infrastructure and Canadian Pension fund PSP for ~$3B in 2023.
From July 2015 until June 2017, Mr. Berkman previously served as the Co-Managing Partner at Associated Partners LP and its predecessor partnership, Liberty Associated Partners, LP, both private equity investment partnerships with Liberty Media Corporation that own controlling interests in wireless communications infrastructure companies AP Wireless Infrastructure Services, LLC and AP Towers, LLC. Mr. Berkman has co-founded multiple other telecommunications companies, such as Current Group, Teligent, Inc. and Nextel Mexico. Mr. Berkman previously served as a member of the board of directors for public companies Empire State Realty Trust, IAC/InterActiveCorp, Liberty Satellite & Technology, Inc. and Teligent, Inc.
He also serves as a member of the board of directors for The Partnership for New York City and the Partnership’s Fund for New York City. Mr. Berkman holds multiple patents for smart electric grid and communications systems. e. Mr. Berkman was a member of the World Economic Forum from 2002 until 2018. He has an A.B. from Harvard University, and in 1997, his family established the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School. Mr. Berkman is a member of the 2009 class of Henry Crown Fellows and the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
