Title and Organization:
CEO, Stanford Management, LLC
Bio:
Rosa Scarcelli is a versatile individual who seamlessly navigates the diverse roles of a business executive, community activist, artist, and former political candidate. Her journey, commencing in real estate development in 1992, has been marked by a specialization in public/private partnerships, creative revitalization of historic buildings, involvement in start-ups, and leading turnarounds. In her capacity as the CEO of Stanford Management, LLC, headquartered in Portland, Maine, Scarcelli takes charge of a closely held portfolio of affordable housing complexes spread across Maine and Pennsylvania. Actively engaged in the Young President's Organization (YPO), she presently holds the role of Chapter Chair for the Seacoast Integrated chapter, a chapter she co-founded in 2021. Her association with YPO traces back to 2006, encompassing various leadership positions. Additionally, Scarcelli is recognized as a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and actively contributes to several non-profit boards and political fundraising committees. A graduate of Bowdoin College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Art History, Scarcelli's artistic roots profoundly shape her real estate development approach, emphasizing community building. This artistic perspective played a pivotal role in her gubernatorial run in Maine in 2010. Beyond her professional pursuits, she maintains a vibrant political life, advocating for electoral reform. Currently residing in Portland and South Bristol, Maine, as well as Vero Beach, Florida, Ms. Scarcelli is a married mother of three grown children.
