Bio:
Brian Trelstad is a partner at Bridges Fund Management, a sustainable and impact investor with $1B in AUM and a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Business School. He launched Bridges in the United States to invest in businesses that generate measurable social or environmental benefits alongside market-rate financial returns. Prior to joining Bridges, Brian was the chief investment officer at Acumen, a global impact investor that financed entrepreneurial solutions to the problems of global poverty in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to Acumen Fund, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Brian holds an MBA from Stanford University, an MA in city and regional planning from the University of California at Berkeley, and a BA in social studies from Harvard University. He is a 2010 Henry Crown Fellow of The Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
