As a serial entrepreneur Tanya had her first customers at just 13 years old. Her early experience of sewing clothing for women of all shapes and sizes evolved to buying her first commercial property at the age of 19 as a home for her first business. Tanya’s experience from the 7 businesses she has grown spans from fashion to retail to hospitality and the wellness industry. She was the founder and visionary behind one of today’s most exciting technologies: the body scanner which garnered “Top 100 Brilliant Companies” by Entrepreneur Magazine and has been featured prominently in media such as New York Times, People Magazine, Good Morning America, The Today Show, CNN's Anderson Cooper 360, The Gail King Show, Oprah Magazine and numerous others. Tanya is an inspiring entrepreneur having won numerous awards throughout her career including the Junior Chamber International Outstanding Young Canadian of the Year Award, the Top Canadian Woman in Hi-Tech /CATA Alliance Sarah Kirke Award, the Top 40 Under 40 Award, and the Ernst and Young Emerging Entrepreneur Of The Year. Tanya has also served as an active Director on several Boards throughout the years and is honored to be a member of the 2010 class of Henry Crown Fellows and the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.
