Marci Zaroff pioneered the market for ECOfashion®, a term she coined and trademarked in 1995 to define the fusion of style and sustainability. She is currently Founder/CEO of ECOfashion Corp, a "Greenhouse of Brands" including a climate-tech-enabled B2B sustainable apparel & home manufacturing platform, as well as licensed house brands "Farm to Home" and "YesAnd." A serial entrepreneur, Marci is also Founder/former CEO of ecolifestyle brand Under the Canopy, and Co-Founder of BeyondBrands conscious consulting agency, Good Catch plant-based seafood, and "The Institute for Integrative Nutrition," the world's leading "health coach" certification program. Marci speaks internationally on sustainable textiles, organic/regenerative agriculture, and conscious business, and was a key driver in defining USA/global standards for organic fiber and Fair Trade textile certification. She is Chair of the Board of the Textile Exchange, and a current trustee/former Board member of the Organic Center/Organic Trade Association, is an ambassador/on the Advisory Boards of FLOW Health, Rodale Institute, and Regenerative Rising, and is Producer of "Thread | Driving Fashion Forward", unveiling the human and environmental impacts of the fashion industry. Marci has been honored with WWD’s “ESG Leadership Award,” New York Moves' "Power Woman Award,” Real Leaders’ “Impact Award,” New Hope’s "Socially Responsible Business Award,” Fashion Group International's "Rising Star Award,” and Retail Touchpoints' "Retail Innovator Award,” to just name a few. Marci is featured in the book "ECO AMAZONS: 20 Women Who Are Transforming the World" and is the Author of "ECOrenaissance: Co-Creating a Stylish, Sexy, and Sustainable World" (Simon & Schuster, 2018.) She has a Finance and Marketing degree from the Haas Business School of the University of California, Berkeley. Marci is a 2010 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
