Adriana Cisneros is the CEO of Cisneros, a privately-owned enterprise with a 95-year legacy. Under her leadership, the company has expanded its reach across real estate, media, and technology.
Cisneros Real Estate oversees Tropicalia, a sustainable luxury resort in the Dominican Republic, with its first phase featuring a Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, set to open in 2026. This ambitious project stands as a testament to Adriana's commitment and vision to sustainable development and innovation in the real estate sector.
Cisneros Interactive, which Adriana built into Latin America’s leading digital advertising firm, represented brands like Meta, Spotify, and LinkedIn before its strategic sale to Entravision. She now leads the company’s expansion into creative technologies through a major stake in The Electric Factory, where she serves on the board.
Cisneros Media is a premier provider of global entertainment, producing live-action and animated programming. Its Pay-TV network reaches over 25 million subscribers across the U.S., Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain, while its linear platforms engage 50+ million viewers worldwide. Venevision remains Venezuela’s top TV network, and Cisneros Media Distribution delivers 30,000+ hours of entertainment globally.
Global Connectivity & Leadership: Adriana's forward-thinking approach extends to strategic investments, notably as a first investor in AST&Science, an initiative revolutionizing global connectivity through Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. This venture underscores her dedication to advancing global communication infrastructure. Adriana served as Head of Strategy for the company and is currently a member of the company’s public board.
Adriana serves on the public boards of Mattel and Ford Motor Company. She is also a board member of the Knight Foundation and I’m A Girl I’m Important, both dedicated to social impact. She recently joined the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy’s Caribbean Division. As President of Fundación Cisneros, she advances educational access in Latin America. She is deeply involved in the arts, serving on MoMA’s Latin American Acquisitions Committee and the Cisneros Institute at MoMA. Additionally, she sits on the board of The Electric Factory and advises The Venture City, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.
Adriana holds a BA from Columbia University and a Master’s in Journalism from NYU. A Henry Crown Fellow and a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, she completed Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development (2010).
