First Name:
Elizabeth
Last Name:
Faraut
Title and Organization:
Founder & CEO, LA LOOP
Bio:
Elizabeth Faraut is a purpose-driven entrepreneur whose work lives at the intersection of design, impact, and community. As the founder and CEO of LA LOOP, she didn’t just create a product—she pioneered a new category in the optical market, building a global brand beloved for its craftsmanship, elegance, and utility. But behind the success of a luxury accessory globally is a deeper mission: to create work that matters in people’s lives. Through LOOPin, LA LOOP’s social impact initiative, Elizabeth has connected her business community to nonprofits, directing resources and relationships toward causes that uplift vulnerable populations. Whether it's supporting at-risk youth, empowering survivors of violence, or advocating for equity, her work is grounded in the belief that small businesses can—and should—be a force for good. Elizabeth serves on the boards of UCLA/The Rape Treatment Center, The Alliance for Children's Rights where she helps shape strategy and visibility for some of Los Angeles’ most vital safety nets. Her leadership is marked by heart, focus, and a relentless drive to make systems work better for the people they’re meant to serve. A 2015 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, Elizabeth continues to use every platform she’s earned to champion dignity, creativity, and justice.
