Bio:
Donna Costello is a Finance Executive specializing in PE backed turnaround opportunities. Most recently, she was the Chief Financial Officer of C&D Technologies, a $1.1 billion PE owned global, industrial manufacturing company. Prior to this assignment, Donna was the Chief Financial Officer of Sequa Corporation, a $1.7 billion global, diversified industrial company with businesses in the Aerospace, Metal and Automotive industries, that was purchased by The Carlyle Group in 2007. Donna was one of the youngest and most accomplished CFO's working in Carlyle's portfolio of companies. Prior to being promoted to CFO, Donna served as Vice President and Controller of Sequa Corporation (from 2005-2008) while it was a publicly traded company, and previously served as Vice President and Controller of Chromalloy Gas Turbine, a Sequa company (from 2002-2005). Donna began her career in public accounting in 1993 as an auditor at Arthur Andersen, where she progressed through a series of assignments to become senior audit manager in 1999. Donna serves on the board of directors for Neenah, Inc (NYSE: NP). Donna maintains ties to her family's neighborhood in the Bronx through her work with a number of charitable organizations including the St. Francis de Chantal Parish for elementary grade educational programs, and the Monsignor Preston High School scholarship program for low-income students. A summa cum laude graduate of Iona College (B.B.A., 1995), she received an M.B.A. in finance, also from Iona, in 1999. Donna is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the New York State Society of CPAs as well as the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants. She is a 2012 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
