Title and Organization:
Claire Ngo currently serves as Managing Director, Private Equity Fund Investments for Temasek International. Formerly, she established CMN Consultancy in 2008, an advisory business focused on business development and human capital management in Asia. Clients included multinational institutions, universities, and corporate executives. Prior to that, Claire was at Goldman Sachs from 1995 to January 2008, where she helped build their Asian Equities business in Singapore and the United States. She was appointed managing director in 2002.
Claire served on the Goldman Sachs Singapore Board of Directors for several years as well as a delegate in the ASEAN 100 Leadership Forum. She co-chaired the GS Women's ASCEND conference in Asia and continues to be a huge advocate for promoting qualified women into key leadership positions. She is a frequent speaker on the topic of women in leadership at several multinationals including MasterCard, Standard Chartered, and British Petroleum. Claire served on the Chairman's Council for Conservation International and helped establish their presence in Singapore. Her past board positions include serving on the Executive Committee for United Nations Women Singapore, Harvard Business School Alumni Board, Singapore Executive Committee for BoardAgender, a non-profit focused on the advancement of women to senior leadership roles in companies across Asia, as well as the Singapore Repertory Theatre, driving their educational partnerships. Additionally, Claire served as a Trustee on the board of the California Academy of Science and currently serves as a Trustee for the University of Virginia College Foundation board. Claire is a member of the Private Equity Women Investor Network, an organization for women leaders in private equity.
Claire holds a MBA from Harvard Business School, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia. She is a classical pianist and has performed in several off-Broadway plays. She is a 2012 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
