Bio:
Mark Harris is a co-founder of Axiom – www.axiomlaw.com. He served as Axiom’s Executive Chairman from 2017-2019 and was the Company’s CEO from 2000-2016. Mark is now the CEO of Knowable – www.knowable.com – a machine learning powered data analytics business that was recently spun out of Axiom. Axiom is a tech-enabled legal services company and the recognized leader in legal industry innovation with over 3,000 teammates serving half the Fortune 100 across the US, Europe and Asia. Mark is often referenced as an industry disruptor: Andrew Ross Sorkin of the New York Times wrote that Mark is "rewriting the law firm business model,” The Financial Times has recognized him as a "top ten agent for change," and Forbes has called him a "name you need to know.” Mark is a past recipient of The Financial Times Lifetime Achievement Award, Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award, and Harvard Law School’s Professional Excellence Award. Prior to founding Axiom, Mark practiced law at Davis Polk & Wardwell and clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He received both his BA and JD from the University of Texas where he served as President of the Texas Cowboys Honorary Service Organization. He is a 2013 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
