Bio:
Chuck Chai is the managing partner and chief investment officer of Juniper Hill Capital Management, an investment organization focused on long-term endowment style investing. From 2011-2019, Chuck was the president and chief investment officer of Hillspire, LLC, a Silicon Valley family office which he currently advises on a variety of investment and non-investment matters. Prior to joining Hillspire, Chuck was an Obama Administration appointee in the U.S. Department of the Treasury and a member of its financial crisis response team related to the 2008 financial crisis. Before public service, Chuck was a managing director and member of the global management committee at Perry Capital and an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. Chuck earned an AB in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a former term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
