Title and Organization:
Kristen Grimm, founder and president of Spitfire Strategies, helps nonprofits and foundations develop successful strategies to create lasting social change. She works for the Ford Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation,Mozilla, Arthur M Blank Foundation, David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and the Nathan Cummings Foundation. Kristen has authored numerous publications including Smart Chart 3.0, Mindful Messaging and Planning to Win. She founded AndACTION.org a pop culture hub that gives nonprofits inside intel about their issues in upcoming and recent film or TV storylines and suggests creative ways to use them for maximum impact. She serves on the boards of Grist Magazine, Mothers Out Front, Potomac Conservancy and Alaska Wilderness League. Kristen has a B.A. from Smith College. She is a 2014 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
