Carla Piñeyro Sublett is an adventurous leader, mom and immigrant who applies her passions for business and social impact to make a difference in her community. As the former Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President at IBM, Piñeyro Sublett was responsible for all aspects of the company’s global marketing efforts. Prior to IBM, Piñeyro Sublett was Executive Vice President, CMO, and General Manager of the Portfolio Business unit of NI, where she served as the first CMO in NI’s history and focused on rebranding the 40+ year company. Piñeyro Sublett also served as the CMO of Rackspace and spent 15 years at Dell, where her roles included launching new businesses in emerging markets, running multiple P&Ls and modernizing the inside sales function. Piñeyro Sublett is a recognized leader in building a better society by the Aspen Institute, serving on their Board of Trustees and as a member of its Henry Crown Fellowship class of 2016. She is the former president of the board of the Texas Conference for Women, a trustee of The Contemporary Austin and the former chair of the Austin Community Foundation. She also serves on the board of Conductor.
