Bio:
Brian Kreiter is Partner & CEO at Braidwell. Prior to co-founding Braidwell, Brian served as Chief Operating Officer of Bridgewater Associates, a globally recognized investment manager of more than $150B for governments, central banks, pension funds, endowments, and foundations. At Bridgewater, Brian co-developed the firm’s Sustainable Investing effort and was a member of the Board of Directors, where he served as Chair of its Governance Committee. In previous roles, he served as Chief of Staff to the firm’s founder Ray Dalio, Department Head of Client Service, wherein he oversaw the firm’s commercial activities and delivery of consultative advice. Prior to that he was Department Head of Investment Research, where he worked with the firm’s CIOs to develop understanding of the global economic system and translate that understanding into systemized, signal-based investment strategies. Brian also served as Chairman of the Board of Elemental Cognition, a groundbreaking Artificial Intelligence company, which he launched as a partnership between Bridgewater and Dr. David Ferrucci, principal investigator of IBM Watson. Before Bridgewater, Brian was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he served a range of clients including alternative investment managers. In 1998, Brian co-founded LIFT, a national organization that continues to help families break the cycle of poverty for which he and his co- founder received the 2004 National Jefferson Award for Public Service. In 2020, he co-founded NeighborShare, a technology-driven nonprofit helping frontline heroes spotlight families in need to ‘neighboring’ donors who can provide immediate support. Brian received a B.A. from Yale University and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
